UNC Anesthesiology celebrates the department\u2019s dedicated Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs) this week for their vital team contributions to coordinating and implementing peri-operative patient care.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Interim UNC Anesthesiology Chair <strong>Anthony Passannante, MD, FASA<\/strong>, noted: \u201cWe thank Robin [Spierer<span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">]<\/span>, Meng [Chen], Sonia [Toporcer<span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">] <\/span>and Jonathan [London] for bringing their energy, enthusiasm, knowledge and skill to our busy clinical anesthesia practice. Robin joined us first in August, followed by Meng in October, Sonia in November, and Jonathan is now finishing his first week.
