\nUNC Anesthesiology’s 2nd Annual Celebration of Research on Wednesday, September 4th, revisited the Research Division’s 2023 inaugural success in hosting an annual occasion to recognize scholarly work ranging from faculty-mentored to resident, medical student\u00a0 and staff research projects. This year, a record 34 non-juried abstracts and poster submissions were on display at the early AM presentation gallery at Koury Oral Health Building. Though no winning presentations were declared, Dr. Alan Smeltz was named “Faculty Researcher of the Year.” Ten faculty were named to a 2024 Honor Roll of UNC Anesthesiology faculty researchers:<\/p>\n
