Dr. Chen&#8217;s team will design a system that eases cognitive overload, standardizes feedback and supports on-the-job training for faculty. The project additionally seeks to enhance feedback validity, reduce faculty workload, and foster broader application across UNC&#8217;s medical education programs. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-20604 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/anesthesiology\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/470\/2024\/12\/Fei-Chen.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/anesthesiology\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/470\/2024\/12\/Fei-Chen.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/anesthesiology\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/470\/2024\/12\/Fei-Chen-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Working with faculty and scholars within and beyond UNC, Dr. Chen has designed, implemented, and evaluated multiple research projects for curriculum improvement, simulation-based education, clinical feedback, formative assessment, and resident wellness.
