\nOn Saturday, April 26th, the inaugural UNC Anesthesiology Pickleball Tournament brought department members together in friendly competition to raise funds for UNC Global Anesthesia<\/strong><\/a> and its patient care mission in Lilongwe, Malawi.<\/strong><\/a> Over a morning of Round Robin-style play, cheering family members & breakfast delivery courtside, four teams of pickleball enthusiasts squared off, with Team “Spinal Tap-Outs” prevailing over the competition, and Team “(Nerve) Block Party” receiving the honorary Wooden Paddle award for last place.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
