At the end of every academic year, UNC Anesthesiology distributes awards to multiple levels of anesthesia care providers for excellence in patient care, teaching, mentorship and leadership. On Saturday, June 14th at the end-of-year graduation banquet, UNC Anesthesiology awarded multiple graduating residents and clinical faculty with honors.<\/p>\n

At the department’s Wednesday, June 18th Grand Rounds, several APP and AT awards were distributed for all-around excellence as a UNC Health patient care provider:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Every year, the department announces a Faculty Honor Roll<\/strong> that is determined by resident evaluations of faculty, faculty feedback of residents by faculty (eg, MyTipReport), teaching efforts (eg, lectures, simulation sessions, mock oral\/OSCE participation, \u201con-the-fly\u201d teaching awards, etc.), mentorship efforts, and service to the residency program (eg, recruitment committee, CCC, PEC participation).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
