The award seeks to recognize the grace and positivity that Melainie brought to her work as a Program Coordinator by honoring colleagues who embody those same qualities in their own programs.\u00a0 <strong>Award criteria include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"647\" data-end=\"1051\">\n<li>Demonstrated effective teamwork<\/li>\n<li>Superb communication skills<\/li>\n<li>In-depth understanding and application of ACGME Common Program Requirements<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional commitment to the educational mission of the training program and to optimizing the resident\/fellow training experience<\/li>\n<li>Innovation in program development<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated involvement in GME at the Institutional, State, or National level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Edward A. Norfleet, MD \u201970 Distinguished Professor of Anesthesiology and Residency Program Director <strong>Susie Martinelli, MD, FASA<\/strong>, noted: &#8220;On behalf of all in our department who work
