After completing his Anesthesiology Residency at Wake Forest University in 2003 and a Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at Wake Forest in 2004, he joined UCSF as a Clinical Assistant Professor (2004\u20132005), followed by an appointment as Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Wake Forest (2005\u20132008). He initially joined UNC REX Healthcare (2008\u20132019) and then returned\u00a0to Wake Forest as an Assistant Professor from 2019 to 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2021, Dr. Antonio has been a <strong>Clinical Associate Professor at UNC<\/strong>, where he has also served as the <strong>Medical Director of UNC REX Holly Springs Anesthesiology<\/strong>.
