Published twice yearly, <em>SEE<\/em> reviews 200 high-impact articles annually drawn from approximately 30 international medical journals and reaches more than 5,500 subscribers worldwide. The program is widely regarded as one of the ASA\u2019s most influential educational offerings and depends entirely on the volunteer efforts of expert anesthesiologist educators.<\/div>\n<h4 class=\"x_elementToProof\" style=\"text-align: center\"><b>National Leadership Across the SEE Editorial Continuum<\/b><\/h4>\n<div>Together, Drs. Coleman, Rojas, and Painter represent excellence across all levels of the <em>SEE<\/em> program &#8212; from early career writer to full writer to editor.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<ul data-end=\"2930\" data-start=\"1594\">\n<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" role=\"presentation\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/anesthesiology\/directory\/john-coleman\/\">UNC Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology <strong>Dr.<\/strong><b> John Coleman<\/b><\/a>, an editor since October 2024, has been a <em>SEE<\/em> contributor since 2021. He has authored 20 <em>SEE<\/em> written works, 17 of which have been published across multiple volumes. He has also edited and provided content expertise for additional items written by peers. As an editor, Dr. Coleman reviews multiple journals monthly, mentors novice writers, participates in quarterly national editorial board meetings, and has edited items featured in the <i>ASA Monitor<\/i>. His contributions represent an estimated 300+ hours of national service annually and reflect exceptional leadership in anesthesia education.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" role=\"presentation\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/anesthesiology\/directory\/andres-rojas\/\">UNC Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology<b> Dr. Andres Rojas<\/b><\/a>, a novice writer since April 2024, has already made meaningful contributions to <em>SEE<\/em>, authoring four items with two published in recent volumes. Through close mentorship and participation in the rigorous peer-review and editorial process, Dr. Rojas is developing the scholarly foundation required for national educational leadership within anesthesiology.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" role=\"presentation\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/anesthesiology\/directory\/nathan-painter\/\">UNC Associate Professor of Anesthesiology <b>Dr. Nathan (&#8220;Nate&#8221;) Painter<\/b><\/a>, a full writer since February 2024, has contributed 14 <em>SEE<\/em> items since joining the program in 2022, with six published across five volumes. He advanced from novice to full writer through sustained scholarly productivity and has participated in national editorial meetings, further strengthening UNC\u2019s presence in ASA educational initiatives.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\"><b>Advancing Anesthesiology Through Service and Scholarship<\/b><\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">The <em>SEE<\/em> program relies on hundreds of volunteer hours from a select group of writers and editors nationwide. Recognition from ASA leadership underscores the significance of these faculty members\u2019 contributions\u2014not only to continuing medical education\u00a0but also to advancing\u00a0anesthesiology as a specialty.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">UNC Anesthesiology Chair <strong>Ted Sakai, MD, PhD, MHA, FASA<\/strong>, noted: &#8221; We congratulate Drs.
