Cefalo House Officer Awardees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">UNC Anesthesiology is thrilled to recognize third-year (CA-3) resident <strong>Natalie Campbell, MD<\/strong>, for being named one of five 2026 recipients of UNC Hospitals\u2019<strong>\u00a0Robert C. Cefalo House Officer Awards<\/strong>. Each year, UNC Hospitals selects five department-nominated house staffers with the Cefalo House Officer Award based upon demonstration of exemplary clinical care, professionalism, leadership, and compassionate patient care. Cefalo, Professor Emeritus of Obstetrics and Gynecology and UNC Hospitals\u2019 former Office of Graduate Medical Education Designated Institutional Official (DIO). A<\/span>s a 25-year UNC Hospitals Residency and Fellowship Program Director, Dr. Cefalo served as a model of exemplary leadership and service to the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).<\/p>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Dr. Campbell&#8217;s selection as a 2026 Cefalo House Officer Award recipient upholds UNC Anesthesiology&#8217;s ongoing tradition of senior residents being selected for this distinguished UNC Hospitals house staff honor. Including Dr. Campbell, six UNC Anesthesiology senior residents have been honored with the Cefalo House Officer Award since 2000: <strong>Natalie Campbell, MD<\/strong> (2026); <span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\"><strong>Jennifer Tripi, MD<\/strong> (2024), <strong>Michael Hart, MD<\/strong> (2021), <strong>Katie Schott, MD<\/strong> (2018), <strong>Christopher Terry, MD<\/strong> (2012); and<strong> Warren Eng, MD<\/strong> (2006).\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\" data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">To read more about the Robert C.
