We were considering White Fragility for a Fall Book Club when we learned the SNMA had chosen it for their Summer Book Club for 1^st and 4^th year students. And, voila! . . . We are delighted and grateful to accept the SNMA’s gracious offer of collaboration!

We stand to gain much from our own reading, reflection, and discussion of this stimulating, important, timely, and relatively easy read (technically!).

We hope you can also join us for the (optional) joint session with students, focusing on discussion of how this vital topic and book might inform the process and content of medical education.

Let’s make the effort to commune with our wonderful students and share the lead in a robust beginning to tackle racism in medicine!
