Summary: Online teaching has been around for many years, yet before the COVID-19 pandemic, less than 9% of higher education faculty were teaching online. The rapid changes in the teaching environment have forced us to move online, yet many of us were not quite ready for it.
This webinar aims to introduce some basic principles of online teaching to help educators transition to online learning. We will discuss a few theoretical frameworks, a brief guide to hardware and software, share some tips on course design and highlight some types of online assessments.
This webinar is for educators who have tried online teaching but are not yet entirely comfortable with it. Join us for a fun yet highly practical webinar to help you cope with the transition. Don’t forget to bring all your problems to the session; the Q&A section is a great time to discuss them.
