I have been using TBL in the Psychiatry clerkship since 2002 and in the Neuroscience and Human Behavior course since 2003. I have conducted numerous workshops and assisted faculty in a variety of disciplines to learn about and establish Team-Based Learning programs in medical student, resident, and nursing education. TBL consulting to local, national and international audiences.

Target Audiences: Dr Levine will be available to meet (by appointment) with interested faculty, any time Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday AM, when she is not scheduled for an event.

The target audiences for Dr. Levine’s lecture and workshops are MS Course Directors, Clerkship Directors, Residency Program Directors, and other interested Medical Student and Resident Teaching faculty.

Schedule of Events:

  • Monday, Feb 7, Grand Rounds: Team Based Learning for Medical Educators 12-1:30 PM (G100 Bondurant) (lunch provided for the first 50 attendees)
  • Monday, Feb 7, Workshop I: TBL 101 4:00-6:00 PM
  • Tuesday, Feb 8, Workshop II: Designing TBL Modules 4:00-7:00 PM
  • Wednesday, Feb 9, Workshop III: Peer Evaluation 12:00 – 2:00 PM (lunch): [This workshop is about teaching students to effectively evaluate each other!]
