Fostering Medical Humanism Through Faculty Role Models<\/h3>\n

Program\u00a0Details<\/h6>\n

Passing the Torch is a faculty development program uniquely suited to Clinician Educator faculty to develop further patient care and teaching skills with a person-centered model. Participants will be expected to attend bi-weekly sessions from October 2025 through June 2026. Depending on the size of the group, these meetings will be virtual and\/or in person. <\/strong>Timing will depend upon the availability of the group.<\/p>\n

Participants will also work on a \u2018passion project\u2019 of their choice for a capstone to the course and can include, but is not limited to, a creative pursuit related to the practice of medicine, aspect of course evaluation, or seed for future education or research project. \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Sessions, generally at lunch time, including critical reflection, participatory learning, written appreciative inquiry, and role-playing, among other techniques for building and honing clinical and teaching skills.\u00a0 Here is a list of sample sessions<\/a>.<\/p>\n
