{"id":4476,"date":"2021-08-09T17:36:14","date_gmt":"2021-08-09T21:36:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/app\/?page_id=4476"},"modified":"2022-04-26T11:36:11","modified_gmt":"2022-04-26T15:36:11","slug":"notification-of-rotation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/app\/app-student-rotations\/visiting-pa-student-rotations\/notification-of-rotation\/","title":{"rendered":"Notification of Rotation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: inherit;font-size: 24px\">Notification of Placement<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Clinical rotations are approved and confirmed through the APP Center.\u00a0 If a preceptor is located and the rotation is approved, the APP Center will send the student, their school and the preceptor a Placement Confirmation Notification email.\u00a0 The notification email contains a link to a MANDATORY Qualtrics survey that is used to gather personal identifiers from the student that are used by the APP Center to obtain EPIC access and a Badge for the student&#8217;s rotation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Within 7 days of receiving the Rotation Notification email, student MUST complete the Qualtrics EPIC Identifiers survey link and<\/strong> provide personal identifiers needed for EPIC access and a Badge.\u00a0 The clinical rotation may be delayed if the information is not provided timely.\u00a0 Once the notification email is received, the student should also contact the preceptor to work out scheduling details.\u00a0 The preceptors email is located in the rotation notification email.<\/p>\n<h3>Steps to Take After Confirmation Notification Email:\u00a0 Contract, Compliance &amp; On Boarding<\/h3>\n<p>Once a rotation is approved and the notification email is received, the student should begin the compliance and on boarding process by following the instructions located on the following webpages:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc\">\n<li>APP Center sends Clinical Affiliation Agreement to School IF an agreement is not already in place &#8211;
