NOTE: Current Sequencher is NOT compatible with 64-bit macOS. Last compatible version is macOS Mojave<\/span><\/h4>\n

There are three components needed to complete this installation. Two are software installers and third is a license file.<\/h4>\n

Software installers: Sassafras K2Client and Sequencher<\/p>\n

Note<\/strong>: Do NOT start this install if you can’t\/don’t want to reboot your machine. Once you start the install, you will HAVE to reboot your machine at least two times to complete the install.<\/p>\n

Part I: KeyAccess Client<\/strong><\/p>\n

For macOS (v.10.10.x and above): an account with administrator privileges may be required.<\/p>\n

Note<\/strong>: If you get a warning about not being able to install the downloaded applications then you will need to temporarily change the security settings for app installs.<\/p>\n

These can be found under “System Preferences” –>”Security and Privacy” –> “General”. Make a note of the original value and then change “Allow applications downloaded from:” to “Anywhere”. Install K2client\/Sequencher. Once the install is done remember to reset this setting back to the original value.<\/p>\n
