The PROMISE study (Peer group Research on Mentoring Scientists underrepresented in biomedical research) is seeking South Asian postdoctoral Fellows for a peer mentoring research study.

You may qualify to participate in the PROMISE study if you identify as South Asian and are involved in biomedical research (the investigation of biological/behavioral processes that advance the diagnoses, treatment, or prevention of disease) and currently hold a position at UNC-CH
*must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Two-hour peer group meetings facilitated by senior underrepresented researchers (twice per month for nine months).
Professional development and skills building to enhance scholarly outputs.

Monetary compensation up to $500 (for completion of online surveys before, during, and after* peer group).
*surveys will be sent every six months, for two years.

Join in a national effort with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to promote the success of UR biomedical researchers in the workforce.
