BCBP Student Seminar Series

BCBP Student Seminar Series FOR STUDENTS ONLY. PI’s are not expected to attend. This is a seminar organized by students for students.

The goal of this seminar series is twofold:

1) to provide graduate students in the biochemistry and biophysics department an informal and low-stress environment to present their work and develop their presentation skills in front of a broad audience and,

2) to give graduate students an opportunity to become more acquainted with each other’s work and progress.

The talks will be about 15-20 minutes with a few minutes for questions.

The student seminar series was abruptly paused last month because of Covid19. Odessa, Amelia, and I have worked out a new schedule over the next couple months, which we anticipate will help everyone stay in touch and combat ensuing boredom. We opted just to continue the old schedule and anticipate resuming the series again in the fall.
