BCBP Synergy Group Meet-ups (can be a different date and time)

What is BCBP Synergy? Please read this news
We have launched project BCBP Synergy for the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics. This project uses the Strength^n software platform, developed by Amy Shaub Maddox, Associate Professor of UNC Biology, to generate randomized groups and organize informal meetings between participating individuals, mixing interactions between graduate students, postdocs, departmental faculty, and staff. We envision that these monthly interactions will provide you an opportunity to learn about research projects in other areas of the department, and to spread ideas and get feedback on your own research. The expectation is that this will foster personal and professional relationships, promote cooperation among all members of BCBP, and expand awareness of collaborative opportunities. Feedback from the meetings have been remarkably positive and we’re excited about the future of this program!
If you are already participating in this program, please spread the word throughout the department. If you are not yet involved but wish to participate in BCBP Synergy, please contact the organizers, Adam Luthman (aluthman@email.unc.edu) and Beverly Errede (errede@email.unc.edu), to get started.
Please note: Your group will decide on a place and a time, which can be different than third Thursday at 12noon.
