NRMN Black Leadership Juneteeth seminar

June 23, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

The Black Scholar and the Black Leadership experience in the workplace are distinctive. Often, being the “only” in a room, on a team, or in the workplace at large is not an unusual experience for Black leaders. In this panel, participants discuss the challenges posed by a lack of representation at the leadership level—and the importance of creating more inclusive and diverse organizations. The panel will also talk about what transformative allyship looks like, the current state of Anti-Blackness and Racism, and how these challenges shape Black Leadership in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine.
