“Multiple strategies for regulating histone mRNA expression during the cell cycle”
—
Dr. Bill Marzluff received his A.B. in Chemistry from Harvard University, obtained his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Duke University, and completed his postdoctoral training in Biology at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Marzluff is currently Kenan Distinguished Professor of Biochemistry and Biophysics with a joint appointment in Biology here at UNC-CH. His research interests are focused on the regulation of gene activity in animal cells, in particular regulation of gene expression during the cell cycle by postranscriptional mechanisms.
