Amanda is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist-Associate and received her BA from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse and Masters of Social Work from the University of Minnesota. Her professional interest includes adjustment and resilience, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Amanda uses a variety of approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She tailors her therapeutic approach to meet her client’s needs. In her spare time (even when not in forced isolation), Amanda says she enjoys being active, traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
