Chancellor issues statement over Twitter on violence at our nation’s Capitol building

Today’s violence at our nation’s Capitol building is unacceptable and threatens the very ideals of our country. On behalf of the Carolina community, I condemn this attack on our democracy and call for the peaceful transfer of power that defines our nation. —
