In February 2023, UNC Biochemistry and Biophysics received an Award from the UNC SOM Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to recognize our DEI efforts and activities in promoting a strong diverse and inclusive environment!

The plaque was displayed during our celebration of Black History Month and now can be found on our award wall on the third floor of the Genetic Medicine building.
