Anita Jackson, MD, MPH is our new Development Officer
Before Dr. Jackson became a physician surgeon, she was a Princeton and Stanford trained Biochemist and credits her love for helping people find the best clinical solution to her continued interest in science and research. Her medical career has also allowed her to follow in her late mother’s footsteps as an educational philanthropist. She is now using her Philanthropy and Organizational leadership
experience to help the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics to expand its brand to its alumni and new friends to develop more financial support for our faculty, students and special projects.
Dr. Jackson is a native of Augusta, Georgia. She is a Molecular Biology graduate from Princeton University and earned a Masters in Biology from Stanford and her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine before receiving her MPH from Harvard School of Public Health where she received the Albert Schweitzer Award and the Harvard Chair as their most outstanding student.
