Vinnie Widjaja, PhD, is a postdoctoral researcher in Qi Zhang’s laboratory. Dr. Widjaja joined our department and the Zhang lab on September 1, 2026.
Dr. Widjaja earned her PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, and Biochemistry from Brown University in May 2026, where she was an NSF Graduate Research Fellow in the Lisi laboratory studying allosteric regulation in the MIF protein superfamily using solution NMR. She received her BS from San Diego State University in 2021, conducting undergraduate research on the enzyme IDH1 in the Sohl laboratory.
Her current research uses computational and in vitro biochemical approaches to investigate time-resolved co-transcriptional folding for cellular probing. Please welcome Dr. Widjaja!
