He was a research associate in the Department of Pathology at the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, United Kingdom. Currently, Ajit is a postdoctoral research associate here at UNC in the Campbell Lab and serves as the Postdoc Committee Chair.<\/span><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">The Campbell Lab\u2019s research applies multidisciplinary structural (X-ray, NMR, computational), biophysical, biochemical and cell biology approaches to investigate the RAS oncoprotein, RAS superfamily and heterotrimeric GTPases, as well as the cell adhesion proteins, vinculin and metavinculin.
