{"id":2756,"date":"2015-11-16T20:30:00","date_gmt":"2015-11-17T01:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/biochem\/?page_id=2756"},"modified":"2018-08-23T09:22:55","modified_gmt":"2018-08-23T13:22:55","slug":"2017-research-retreat","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/biochem\/2017-research-retreat\/","title":{"rendered":"2017 Research Retreat"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><span>The UNC Department of Biochemistry &amp; Biophysics welcomes you to attend our upcoming <strong>Research Retreat being held May 2 -3, 2017!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The event will begin with a <a title=\"\" href=\"\/biochem\/events\/2017-research-retreat\/welcome-reception\" class=\"internal-link\" target=\"_self\"><strong>welcome reception on the evening of Tuesday, May 2, 2017<\/strong> <\/a><strong><a title=\"\" href=\"\/biochem\/events\/2017-research-retreat\/welcome-reception\" class=\"internal-link\" target=\"_self\">at the NC Botanical Gardens<\/a> <\/strong>and the full day of <strong><a title=\"\" href=\"\/biochem\/events\/2017-research-retreat\/venue\" class=\"internal-link\" target=\"_self\">talks and posters will be on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the Rizzo Conference Center in Chapel Hill, NC<\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>We have invited department graduate and postdoctoral <a title=\"\" href=\"\/biochem\/events\/2017-research-retreat\/keynote\" class=\"internal-link\" target=\"_self\">alum to give scientific and mentoring talks<\/a>, planned for departmental talks and posters, and a welcome reception to make for an engaging and exciting retreat.
