Update from Cassandra Hayne PhD (2017), “This is week four being back in lab since March. Our lab was only open for essential research, including a SARS-COV-2 project the lab initiated. This morning, our SARS-COV-2 paper<\/a> went live on BioRxiv! Congratulations to all the authors and collaborators for their hard work.<\/p>\n

Our other paper was designated as a \u201cBreakthrough Article\u201d by Nucleic Acids Research (NAR) which is an honor given to the top 1-2% of all papers. Nucleic Acid Research journal: “Reconstitution of the human tRNA splicing endonuclease complex: insight into the regulation of pre-tRNA cleavage.” <\/a>We collaborated with Dr. Gregory Matera’s Lab<\/a> at UNC.”<\/p>\n

Dr. Hayne is a 2017 BCBP alumna and former member of the Neher lab.<\/div>\n
