UNC endocrinology\/metabolism ranked 8<sup>th<\/sup>. These three areas were the only disciplines ranked in the top 10.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the other UNC disciplines that were ranked:<\/p>\n<p>Gastroenterology \/ Hepatology, 11<sup>th<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Infectious Diseases, 11<sup>th<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Public, Environmental, Occupational Health, 13<sup>th<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Microbiology, 14<sup>th<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Psychiatry, 19<sup>th<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Clinical Medicine, 25<sup>th<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Molecular Biology and Genetics, 25<sup>th<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Immunology, 29<sup>th<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Oncology, 29<sup>th<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Cell Biology, 30<sup>th<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Radiology \/ Nuclear Medicine \/ Medical Imaging, 32<sup>nd<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Neuroscience and Behavior, 44<sup>th<\/sup><\/p>\n<p><strong>Biology and Biochemistry, 46<sup>th<br \/>\n<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Biotechnology and Applied Microbiology, 53<sup>rd<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Surgery, 62<sup>nd<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>From the U.S. News &amp; World Report:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong>Universities from the United States and more than 80 other countries<\/strong> have been ranked based on 13 indicators that measure their academic research performance and their global and regional reputations.
