Anna Wheless was recently awarded a $2K Pilot Grant from the North Carolina Translational and Clinical Sciences (TraCS) Institute to follow up on an LPL gene therapy study conducted by Ming Jing Wu, Research Technician and Lab Manager in the Neher lab.<\/p>\n

Undergraduate researcher and senior Alexis Campbell is also assigned to the project and is helping develop the methods for the study.\u00a0 The team in the Neher lab<\/a> is cataloging and analyzing the effects of LPL gene therapy on mouse livers in the hopes of developing a basis for further clinical development.<\/p>\n
