conference.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>The conference features sessions on multiple student development and student services areas and provides continuing education credit through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC), which provided Holly with her NCC credentials.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>This NBCC conference provided updates on best practices in student programming and student services as well as connections to experts in the student development field.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>NBCC conference sessions included:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>Advancing your career in a post-pandemic world<\/div>\n<div>Around the world in 60 minutes: University matchmaking<\/div>\n<div>Both, And &#8211; a model for counselor and teacher postsecondary advising for all<\/div>\n<div>Building statewide collaborations for post-secondary success<\/div>\n<div>College counselors: DEI agents of change<\/div>\n<div>Creating a mentorship program<\/div>\n<div>FAFSA deep dive: the expected family contribution<\/div>\n<p>Helping under-resourced students flourish in the midst of the pandemic<br \/>\nCreating refugee-friendly spaces in U.S. higher education<br \/>\nPartnering with honors programs on inclusive enrollment management practices<br \/>\nRecruiting diverse leaders to lead the charge and spark the change, and many others.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>The pilot grant covers expenses incurred in the Spring of 2022 related to education and training, including opportunities like credit and non-credit courses, certificate programs, conferences, or similar opportunities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"entry-title\"><a
