The GPSG Senate, consisting of senators representing the different units on campus, is part of the legislative arm of the GPSG. In addition to being a senator, she will also serve on the Appropriations committee which advises the senate on the distribution of GPSG funding that goes to support professional development, academic, social and DEI programs.<\/p>\n<div>Maria is second year graduate student in Sharon Campbell\u2019s lab. During her first year at UNC, she was part of the BBSP Leadership group, a group of students who work with the BBSP director to voice the concerns of the students and help improve the experience of the current and upcoming cohorts.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Maria is passionate about representing BCBP students, advocating for change, and voicing their concerns to university leadership.
