The University recognizes and expresses appreciation for the long term service of faculty across the University. The department of Biochemistry and Biophysics is proud to announce the following faculty with their State Service Awards.<\/p>\n

We congratulate Professors Aziz Sancar and Ronald I. Swanstrom for 40 years of state service, Zbigniew Dominski for 25 years of state service, David S. Paul and Greg Wang for 10 years of state service. Thank you to your hard work and dedication to our mission of research, teaching and service. We are a better place because of all of you!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThe key to Carolina\u2019s success is in its people, and we\u2019re glad to celebrate those who\u2019ve dedicated themselves to the great work we do at UNC-Chapel Hill. They teach, they do research, they provide service and guidance to students, to scientists and scholars, and to the people of the state and beyond. 2022 State Service Recognition<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

This list list reflects data between January 1, 2022 \u2013 December 31, 2022. Please visit the UNC Human Resources website (above) to access the complete list of employees across the university who received state service awards in 2022.<\/p>\n

The University recognizes and expresses appreciation for the long-term service of faculty and staff, both full-time and part-time (regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours each week).
\nEligibility for 5, 10, 15 and 20 years of service awards are determined by an employee\u2019s Total State Service according to the University\u2019s fiscal year, July 1 through June 30.
