Undergrad researcher McGuire Metts in Strahl lab<\/a> receives Brantley Award! Maguire was mentored by Abid Khan in the Strahl lab.<\/p>\n

The Brantley Award is given out to senior Biology majors for excellence in research in molecular, cell and developmental Biology.<\/p>\n

McGuire Metts, an undergrad researcher in Brian Strahl\u2019s lab presented his project entitled, \u201cHistone modifier SETD2 regulates nuclear lamina integrity during mitosis\u201d<\/p>\n

\"Maguire<\/p>\n

He will receive his award at the UNC Biology Graduation ceremony.<\/p>\n

Congratulations McGuire!<\/p>\n

Two other researchers, Amber Amparo, and Sarah Torzone, also were awarded Brantley awards.<\/p>\n
