During my time at NC State, I had the opportunity to work under Dr. Casey Theriot, where I investigated how certain members of the gut microbiome might modulate or inhibit the virulence of <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">Clostridium difficile<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"none\"> infections.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335557856&quot;:16777215,&quot;335559739&quot;:0}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Outside of the lab, I enjoy reading, attending various sporting events and discovering great food around the Triangle.
