Phu Nguyen<\/span>, undergraduate researcher<\/span> in <\/span>the Strahl lab<\/span>,<\/span> has received <\/span><\/span>The Edward Kidder Graham Award<\/span><\/span><\/strong> from the Chancellor. This award recognizes a graduating senior for exceptional contributions to a student organization through leadership, dedication, innovation, and support of the University’s mission. This award was presented at the annual Chancellor\u2019s Awards ceremony and reception on Tuesday, April 22, 2025<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Phu Nguyen<\/span><\/span>\u00a0also received the Bryan Public Service Award <\/strong>on April 17, 2025 on behalf of leading the student organization, Magic of Science which was recognized for their outstanding work making science accessible and enjoyable for children from many backgrounds, including those traditionally underserved or facing challenges.<\/p>\n

In addition, Phu <\/span>also was<\/span> honored by the <\/span>Biology<\/span> department with<\/span><\/span> the <\/span>Stephen Brantley Undergraduate Award<\/strong>! <\/span>Phu Nguyen\u2019s thesis is titled:\u00a0<\/span>A SETD2-CDK1-Lamin Axis Maintains Nuclear Lamina Integrity and Genome Stability<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
