Chris has been Assistant Director since January and will start full-time as Director on Monday, June 30, 2025.\u00a0Chris completed his PhD in the Department of Chemistry here at UNC under the direction of Prof. Marcey Waters, focusing on mechanistic studies of epigenetic reader proteins.\u00a0Before joining UNC, Chris spent time at GSK at a medicinal chemistry co-op working on a program in the pre-clinical stage.
