Dr. Brittain\u2019s four year term runs from 2011-2015. <span class=\"external-link\"><i>The World Journal of Hematology (WJH) <\/i><\/span>is a bimonthly peer-reviewed, online, and open-access (OA) journal. <i>WJH<\/i> covers experimental, clinical, oncological and transplant hematology, transfusion science, hemostasis and thrombosis, traditional medicine, integrated Chinese and Western medicine, evidence-based medicine, epidemiology and nursing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; \">Dr. Brittain works on coagulation in sickle cell disease on her independent projects and collaborates with the <a class=\"external-link\" href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/lesliepariselab\/\" target=\"_blank\">Leslie Parise lab<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; \">To
