Her term begins mid-July 1, 2018 and will run for one year. <\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<p>The Association of Medical and Graduate Departments of Biochemistry (AMGDB), was founded in 1969 and represents Departments of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at graduate and medical schools in North America, including the 50 United States and Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. The AMGDB focuses on issues related to basic and biomedical science, health research, science policy and education. They support the teaching mission of the Association of Biochemistry Educators. Through its web site <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amgdb.org\/\">http:\/\/www.amgdb.org\/<\/a> AMGDB serves as a conduit between departments and graduate student and postdoctoral applicants. It also notifies young scientists about openings for faculty positions in biochemistry departments throughout North America.
