Rui Lu\u2019s project for the grant was titled \u201cNovel Approaches for Efficient and Tissue-Specific Inhibition of EZH2\/1 Hyperactivity in Lymphomas\u201d. His current research interest is cancer epigenetic, which means understanding how epigenetic deregulations lead to human cancer and developing new treatments for cancer by targeting epigenetic pathways. Rui Lu got his PhD in Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai China in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>A cornerstone of LRF\u2019s grants portfolio, the Young Investigator Grants have consisted of the Clinical Research Career Development Award (CDA) and Postdoctoral Fellowship grants since 2002. For the 2014 cycle, the Foundation added the LRF Clinical Research Mentoring Program (LCRMP), which provides hands on career development and networking opportunities to early career scientists. This grant will support his research from Mar 1st, 2014 to Mar 1st, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>More information about the award can be found here: <a class=\"external-link\"
