Join us on May 18, 2026, for a special one-day symposium honoring the life and legacy of Richard (Dick) Wolfenden, one of the great pioneers in enzymology and protein science at UNC.<\/p>\n

This gathering will bring together leading voices in the field\u2014including Dan Herschlag (Stanford), John Richard (SUNY Buffalo), George Rose (Johns Hopkins), and Vern Schramm (Albert Einstein College of Medicine)\u2014for a day of scientific talks and reflection.<\/p>\n

The afternoon will feature shorter tribute presentations, offering an opportunity to share memories and celebrate Dick\u2019s lasting impact on science and our community. A limited number of spots remain open for additional contributions.<\/p>\n
