My research interests are broadly in understanding clinical outcomes in SCD management, characterizing individuals at greater risk for complications and in improving guideline-based care of those with SCD, especially in the diagnosis and management of iron overload.<\/p>\n<p>I am joining the non-malignant hematology faculty at UNC and am interested in pursing research in non-malignant hematology.
