\nProject Title: Cellular Mechanisms of Inflammation, Hemostasis, and Thrombosis<\/p>\n

P01 Principal Investigator:\u00a0 Mark Ginsberg, MD<\/p>\n

Dr. Bergmeier’s laboratory will run an Animal Models Core for studies on the molecular mechanisms regulating the adhesion of platelets and inflammatory cells to endothelium\/extracellular matrix at sites of vascular injury.<\/p>\n

The total award is ~11M USD with >1.5M coming to UNC over 5 years!<\/p>\n
