Decreased Hb oxygen saturation (SpO<sub>2<\/sub>), or \u2018hypoxemia\u2019, may exacerbate SCD due to the centrality of deoxy-HbS in disease pathophysiology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">We will examine the prevalence, impact, and response to treatment of hypoxemia during sleep in\u00a0 adults living with homozygous sickle cell anemia (SCA) at four comprehensive sickle cell centers across the U.S., focusing on patient reported outcomes (PROs), disease activity, cardiopulmonary health, and cellular biomarkers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a
