Yueh Z. Lee, MD, PhD, is Associate Professor of Radiology. He is also Adjunct Assistant Professor in Physics and Astronomy & Biomedical Engineering at UNC. Dr. Lee completed his medical and doctoral degrees (Biomedical Engineering) at UNC-Chapel Hill. After completing UNC’s MD/PhD program, he completed his Internship (Medicine), Diagnostic Radiology residency and Neuroradiology fellowship at UNC. His areas of interest are brain tumors and new imaging techniques. Dr. Lee serves as the Department’s “translational” scientist and clinical neuroradiologist. He plays a key role in the development of the carbon nanotube CT scanner.
