Study Design and Protocol Development:<\/h3>\n

Pre-study planning:<\/strong> PMI faculty and staff meet with all new users to discuss proposed studies and to better understand how imaging can be used to advance your research.\u00a0 The PMI can also help with animal (IACUC and DCM) and safety (EHS) regulations associated with your imaging related research.\u00a0 Once a plan of action has been determined the PMI is here to help implement that plan.<\/p>\n

Data collection:<\/h3>\n

Pilot<\/strong> data:<\/strong>\u00a0 Pilot data is an important part of research and the PMI is able to help collect the data and images necessary for grant submission.<\/p>\n

Imaging studies:\u00a0<\/strong> Once a study protocol has been agreed upon the PMI facility has several modalities<\/a> in which we can use to execute that protocol.<\/p>\n

Multi-Modality imaging:<\/strong>\u00a0 Multi-modality imaging can combine the anatomical and molecular to make imaging more powerful.<\/p>\n

Data Processing\/Analysis:<\/h3>\n

Data processing:<\/strong> Post processing is often needed to further analyze data.\u00a0 The PMI facility has many resources at our disposal to obtain the data formats needed for analysis.<\/p>\n

Data analysis:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>An imaging study does not end with data collection.\u00a0 Analysis of that data can be as complicated as it is important.\u00a0 Depending on the type of analysis needed PMI faculty and staff can teach users to analyze their data or do the analysis as a service.<\/p>\n

Image preparation and publication:<\/h3>\n

Image preparation:<\/strong>\u00a0 Whether you are looking for the perfect publication image, an .stl file for 3D printing, or something to put in a poster we can help create what is needed.<\/p>\n
