The system was purchased through a shared instrumentaton grant award (S10 RR025594, PI: Paul Dayton), and was originally placed in Dr. Paul Dayton\u2019s lab. The system is equipped with all the bells and whistles, almost all the modes you can get with the animal ultrasound imaging. Major configurations are described in the following:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\" \">Five transducers: MS200 (18MHz center frequency); MS250 (24MHz); MS400 (38 MHz); MS550D (55 MHz), and MS700 (70MHz)  <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\" \">Various imaging modes: B\u2010mode; M\u2010mode; PW Doppler Mode; PW Tissue Doppler Mode; Color Doppler Mode; Power Doppler Mode; 3D\u2010Mode; Contrast Imaging Functionality; Digital RF Mode <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\" \">Analysis tools: VevoStrain Analysis Suite; VevoCQ\u2122 Advanced Contrast Quantification Software; Vevo\u00ae Color ; ECG\u2010Triggered \u2010 Respiration Gated Analysis   <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\" \">Imaging stage with micromanipulator mounted for imaging\u2010guided injection <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\" \">The Vevo\u20102100 system offers many attractive imaging features that you might not be able to achieve in some older models.
