The upcoming Small Animal Imaging Seminar will be held on May 19th<\/sup>, 2015, Tuesday at 1pm. <\/p>\n

Our speaker this time is Dr. Shawn Hingtgen, from the UNC School of Pharmacy. <\/span>Dr. Hingtgen\u2019 s lab<\/a> focuses on developing stem cell-based therapeutic methodology for cancer treatments. Their group has utilized extensively non-invasive imaging methods in stem cell research, particularly optical imaging including both bioluminescence and fluorescence imaging methods. Dr. Hingtgen\u2019s talk will focus on developing stem cell drug carriers, and how optical imaging has been incorporated in the various stages of the study as an important research tool.<\/span><\/p>\n
