May 2012 – On May 19th, at the 2012 meeting of the American Gastroenterology Association (AGA) in San Diego, P. Kay Lund received a Research Mentor Award for her track record in outstanding mentorship in research related to hormones, transmitters, growth factors or their receptors.

This award, established in 2010, recognizes an individual for his or her achievements as an outstanding mentor in a specific area of research. An award will be given to a member of each AGA section and the mentor will have research interests in the section topic.
