Erica Cloer was selected to present her work on the KEAP1 tumor suppressor protein at the annual Cancer Biology Training Consortium (CABTRAC) meeting in Estes Park, Co. Her talk was very well-received and won her the ‘best presentation’ award. Erica is a graduate student in the Major lab and holds a trainee position on the Predoctoral Cancer Cell Biology Training Program (NCI T32).

The Cancer Biology Training Consortium (CABTRAC) was established in 2005 to facilitate the exchange of ideas between individuals and institutions dedicated to the mission of training the next generation of cancer researchers. The consortium works closely with over 50 institutions within the US as well as the National Cancer Institute’s Cancer Training Branch.
